Characteristics of Tectonic Environment of Tangshan MS5.1 Earthquake on July 12, 2020

  • 摘要: 2020年7月12日唐山5.1级地震发生后,河北省地震局迅速派出现场工作队奔赴地震现场,开展烈度和震害调查工作。从河北唐山老震区地震构造环境、MS5.1地震震源机制解、烈度和震害、唐山老震区地震活动水平及震前蠕滑异常等5个方面进行了综合分析,并建议沿唐山断裂带布设水化学和形变连续观测台阵,为短临预报提供重要的观测数据。

     

    Abstract: After the MS5.1 Tangshan Guye Tashanying earthquake occurred on July 12, 2020, Hebei Earthquake Agency organized a team to go to the earthquake site to carry out intensity and damage investigation. This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the seismotectonic environment, focal mechanism solution of the MS5.1 earthquake, intensity and damage, seismicity level in the old Tangshan earthquake area, and the creep anomaly before the earthquake. The specific suggestions for short-term and impending prediction of moderate strong earthquakes in Tangshan old earthquake area are given.
