Abstract:
We inversed the focal mechanism solutions of the main shock of Jingxi
M5.2 earthquake and
M4.3 aftershocks in 2019 by using CAP method. The results of
M5.2 main shock and
M4.3 strong aftershock are similar, and both of them are thrust type. According to the distribution of aftershocks in NE direction, it is preliminarily concluded that the Xialei-Shangying fault is a possible seismogenic structure. The depth inversion result shows that the focal depth of the main shock is 1.3 km and the aftershock is 1.2 km, which indicates that the earthquake was a very shallow earthquake, and the result is basically consistent with the data obtained from the mobile station. The result is basically reliable.
