2016年1月9日怀来震群序列震兆意义综合分析

Comprehensive Precursor Significance of Huailai Earthquake Swarm Sequence on January 9, 2016

  • 摘要: 利用P波初动计算了2016年1月9日河北怀来震群中最大ML3.4地震的震源机制解,根据余震分布确定主断层面走向151°,倾角83°,滑动角11°。该震群的发震构造为NW向的黄土窑-土木断裂,是局部应力场调整作用下与怀涿盆地北缘断裂共同作用的结果,依据震群序列参数判定为非典型前兆震群。近年延怀盆地地震活动水平较低,表现出断层闭锁特征,其震群序列特征显示为非前兆型,对短期发生强震的指示意义不大。

     

    Abstract: The focal mechanism solution of the largest earthquakewith magnitude ofML3.4 of the Hebei Huailai earthquake swarm sequence is calculated using P wave polarity data and the fault plane of the focal mechanism solution is determined combining with distribution of aftershocks:strike 151°, dip angle 83°, slip angle 11°. The NW-trending Huangtuyao-tumu fault is the seismogenic structure of the earthquake swarm which is caused by both the regional stress field and Huailai-zhuolu basin north margin faults. According to its earthquake swarm sequence parameters, the Huailai earthquake swarm sequence belongs to atypical precursory earthquake swarm. In recent years, the seismic activity of the Yanqing-huailai basin is in a low level and show fault-locking characteristic;therefore, attention should be paid to the seismic risk in the area. But the earthquake swarm gives little instructions for short-term earthquakebecause it is not a precursory earthquake swarm.
