Focal Mechanism of ML≥3.5 Earthquake in Northeast Yunnan from 2008 to 2012

  • 摘要: 选取云南省数字地震台网记录的滇东北地区2008-2012年ML≥3.5地震波形资料,运用全波形模拟的方法,计算得到震源机制解,对其进行综合分析。结果表明:①地震破裂面走向分布具有多样性,节面的倾角较高,滑动方式主要以走滑为主,斜滑和倾滑较少;②主压应力场方向为NNW-SSE,主张应力场方向为NEE-SWW,中等应力轴近于垂直;③该区域大部分地震的震源参数基本相同,但少部分地震的震源机制解也存在一定的差异。

     

    Abstract: Based on data recorded by the Yunnan Digital Seismic Network, we calculate and analyzes the focal mechanism of ML≥3.5 earthquakes in northeastern Yunnan from 2008 to 2012 using the method of full waveform simulation. The result shows:(1) the strike of earthquake rupture surfaces show diversity distribution, but most of the nodal plane has high dip angle, the focal mechanisms are mainly of strike-slip type. (2) The principal compressive stress axis is in the NNW-SSE direction, the principal extension axis is in the NEE-SWW direction, the secondary stress axis is to the vertical. (3) Most of the seismic source parameters are basically the same except that of some small earthquakes.
