北天山地震带的强震活动特征
CHARACTERISTICS OF SEISMICITY OF STRONG EARTHQUAKES IN NORTH TIANSHAN SEISMIC ZONE

摘要: 北天山地震带是多次发生8级大震的内陆地震带,本文研究了它的强震活动特征和地质构造的关系,将其划分出三个地震亚带,并对这三个亚带的强震活动、相关特征进行了分析对比。指出克宾-尼勒克地震亚带与乌恰-喀什地区的强震活动相关,准噶尔盆地南缘一带与阿尔泰-贝加尔地区的强震活动相关,而艾比湖地震亚带的强震活动则受南北两个方面的构造运动影响。最后从地质构造和地震活动的角度讨论了它们在地壳动力学上的意义。Abstract: North Tianshan seismic zone is an intro-continental one where several strong shocks (Ms=8) occurred. The relationship between the characteristic of strong shock activity and geological structure is discussed,The zone is divided into three sub-seismic zones and an analysis and comparison have been made for their seismicity and relativity.lt is shown that strong shock activities of Kebin-Nilk sub-seismic zone and Southern margin region of Zhungle Basin are related to that of Ugia-Hashi and Alta-Begal regions respectively. However, strong seismic activity of Aibihu sub-seismic zone is affected by southern and northern structural movement. Finally,their significance in geodynamics is discussed in terns of geology and seismicity.
