全球大震活动与地球自转速率的关系

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACTIVITY OF LARGE EARTHQUAKES IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND ROTATION SPEED OF THE EARTH

  • 摘要: 地球自转及其速率变化是地壳构造运动的重要动力来源,其水平原动力有两种:由两极压向赤道的力,与地球自转角速度平方成正比;东西向的力,与地球自转角加速度成正比,其大小按纬度的分布与全球大地震频度随纬度的分布一致。所造成构造应力的主方向与全球6级以上地震震源机制解得的震源同性质主应力方向及地震带走向的统计结果相符。取其能量的1%,已足够供给地震释放。

     

    Abstract: The earth's rotation and its speed change are important force sources of tectonic movement of the earth's crust.They have two kinds of horizontal primary forces-the force pressing from two poles to the equator and the f-orce on EW direction,the former is in direct proportion to square of angular velocity of the earth's rotation,the latter is in direct proportion to angular acceleration of the earth's rotation.The distribution of value of the two for-ces with latitudes is in accord with the distribution of large earthquakcs freq-uency in the whole earth with latitudes.The principal directions of tectonic stress caused by the two forces are consistent with the same principal stress directon in sources obtained from source mechanism of Ms≥6 earthquakes and with the statistical result of seismic belt strikes in the whole earth.1 per ce-nt of the energy which is caused by speed change of the earth's rotation is e-nough for earthquakes release.
