Summary of Earthquake Damage of Yunnan Mojiang M5.9 Earthquake on September 8, 2018

  • 摘要: 2018年9月8日10时31分29秒,云南省墨江县(23.28°N,101.53°E)发生M5.9地震。根据现场调查情况,详细阐述地震灾区房屋建筑结构特点、房屋建筑及生命线工程震害特征,给出房屋建筑震害矩阵,对其震害成因进行分析,并与省内近年相似震级的地震震害进行对比分析,结果表明:本次地震波及范围广、总体震害轻、无人员死亡、地质灾害轻。

     

    Abstract: At 10:31:29 on September 8, 2018, an M5.9 earthquake occurred in Mojiang County of Yunnan Province (23.28°N, 101.53° E). Based on the field investigation, this paper elaborates on the structural characteristics of buildings in earthquake-stricken areas, the damage characteristics of building construction and lifeline engineering, and gives the earthquake damage matrix of building buildings, and analyzes the causes of earthquake damage. Compared with the earthquake damages of similar magnitudes in recent years in the province, it is concluded that the earthquake has a wide range of coverage, light overall damage, no personnel death, and light geological disasters.
