Abstract

In this paper,cross-fault baseline data and leveling data in 1984-2008 from Tangshan seismological station is used to study the motion characteristics of the Tanshan faults during different period of time.The vertical and horizontal deformation of the fault is calculated,the motion rate of it is given.On this basis,the relationship between the seismic activity and activity of the fault are discussed.
