IDENTIFICATION OF SHORT-IMPENDING TIDAL DEFORMATION ANOMALY AT TAIAN SEISMIC STATION BEFORE PUYANG ML4.6 EARTHQUAKE

  • In this paper, the "Nakai" fitting test of tilt tide and the analysis of tidal tilt are used to process tidal deformation data. The tidal deformation observation data of Taian seismic station which is before the ML4.6 earthquake in the junction of Puyang and Xinxian on April 9,2006 are processed and analyzed. The result shows that in about 10 days before the earthquake, some short-impending anomalies are recorded at the Taian seismic station, which may be earthquake precursor information.
