THE CURRENT CHARACTERISTICS OF VERTICAL CRUSTAL DEFORMATION OF THE CAPITAL CIRCLE

Based on four periods of re-measured precise leveling data of 1998,2001,2005 and 2007 in the capital circle,the status and dynamic characteristics of the vertical crustal deformation during the past ten years in this region are analyzed.The result shows that the Inheritance motion is dominant in the deformation field,which means uplift in the mountain zone and subsidence in the basin and plain.The isoline distribution in the northwest capital circle is dense and orderly and has the four-quadrant characteristic,it probably shows that the strain field in this region is accumulating and strengthening gradually.Although the value and area of the abnormal deformation are small,further attention is still needed.
