BOSHAN “SEISMIC REGIME”

Basing on the basic thinking of the reference No.1 and "the procedure guide of the seis-mological analyses and prediction method", the research for small earthquake activities of the Shandong Province have been made.The small earthyquakes frequency in Boshan region in central Shandong is better correlative with the M4.0 to M5.0 moderate earthquakes oc-curred in Shandong in a few years ago.Before moderate shock, the small earthquake activi-ties in this area have experience concentrated-quiescence-occurrence process.Based on this results, we might consider it a seismic regime for the seismic surveillance of the moderate strong earthquake activity in Shandong Province.Meanwhile, it could be possible a moderate strong earthquake will occur in second half year in 1991 or later in Shandong Province or Laizhou bay.
