Abstract

In this paper, we make a reginal analysis for the earthquakes data in the northern part of China in 1480 to 1980. From the view of the stepped energy reease, we analyse the affection upon each other of different areas and suggest a regiosal stepped relase model. Then, the estimation of its parameters and the hypothesis testing have been discussed.
