  • This paper systematically summarized the characteristics of terrestrial stress precursory field of the Wuwei earthquake (Ms=5.3)on January 6, 1984 received by the terrestrial stress observational network in eastern Gansu Province. It is considered that these seismic precursory characteristics are significant in determining the place, original time and magnitude of a future earthquake and have provided some experience for earthquake predictions in the future.
