In 1966-1976, strong earthquakes of M>7 occurred cotinuously in the eastern part of North China, and formed a seismically active period.Before and after Xingtai and Tangshae earthquakes, remarkable anomalies of long-mid-short and imminent te-rm appeared in the Shanxi seismic zone.These anomalies reflected the relation betw-een the Shanxi seismic zone and the seismotectonic of these strong earthquake, and also showed that the process of preparation-occurence-adjustment of Xingtai and Tan-gshan earthquakes are completed at a large range including the Shanxi seismic zone.
