AN EXAMPLE OF ANOMALOUS CHANGE OF GROUNDWATER IN XINGTAI EARTHQUAKE

Based on the groundwater level data of the Test Station of the Hydrologic Institute of Geological Ministry,the observed anomalous groundwater changes from part of wells of the Test Station before and after the Xingtal earthquake are introduced, which were observed for the first time by the professional contingent.Therefore, it is of great val-ue to study the anomalous change of groundwater caused by strong carthquakes.
