Abstract
Based seismic waveform data of Guangdong digital network, through relocating of 62 distant earthquakes over 50km to Guangdong province, the three earthquake locating methods used in Guangdong digital seismic network are contrasted with each other.The result shows that to the earthquakes in east-southern China, west-northern China, and earthquakes not far from Guangdong area in Indonesia and Japan, all the three earthquake location methods are effective.As to the earthquakes far from China in abroad, the Hyposat method and locSAT method are also effective, but the simplex location method is out of action.
