QUATERNARY SYSTEM DISTRIBUTION AND NEW TECTONIC MOVEMENT CHARACTERISTICS OF NORTHWESTERN ANHUI PROVINCE AND ADJACENT AREA

On the basis of quaternary system borehole data from geological investigation report of the northwestern Anhui province and adjacent area,this paper presents quaternary system isopach of the northwestern Anhui province and adjacent area.Combined with local seismicity and fault distribution,we analyze the tectonic movement of this area.The result shows that Woyang area may be the most risk area of destructive earthquake in the study area.
