DAMAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF SHIJIAZHUANG REGION CAUSED BY XINGTAI EARTHQUAKE

Using historical seismicity in Shijiazhuang area, damage record of March 8, 1966 Longyao M_S6.8 earthquake and March 22, 1966 Ningjin M_S7.2 earthquake to this area and the impact of Xingtai earthquake and its strong aftershocks to this area, this paper researches and analyzes the damage characteristics of the Shijiazhuang area, which is very important to understand the earthquake damage of this area.
