IMPACTS OF SEA LEVEL RISE ON SAND SOIL LIQUEFACTION IN XIALIAOHE RIVER PLAIN

  • Sea level rise significantly impact economic development and environment.Liaoning Xialiaohe River Plain is part of coastal economic zone and is prone to produce sand soil liquefaction hazards.This article analyzes the seismic tendency and groundwater changing caused by sea level rise in this area.The results show that sea level rise may lead to serious partial sand soil liquefaction in this area in a hundred years, but large area sand soil liquefaction is not likely to occur.
