ANALYSIS ON THE OPERATION OF GRAVIMETER IN TAI'AN SEISMIC STATION FROM 2008 TO 2010

  • Based on observation data of Tai'an station from 2008 to 2010, the malfunctions and solutions during the operation of gravimeter are summarized, the observation data was preliminary analyzed.Whether there is a relationship between the small dislocations of the recorded curve and the earthquake is discussed, the factors that affect the observation quality are also listed. The essence conditions of the gravimeter are as follows:the monthly drift is 257.17×10-8 m/s-2;the precision of the gravimeter is as high as 0.000 53;Most of the malfunctions are lightning strike, data acquisition system halt, misoperation and time system turbulence;the factors that affect the data quality are lightning strike, data acquisition system malfunction, pendulum sticked caused by earthquakes and observation curve dislocations.According to the statistic data, there are 73%, eleven times, of the fifteen dislocations are close to mid or strong earthquakes.
