Abstract

This paper outlines the principle, physical base and new abvance of acoustic logs.It is pointed out in the paper that this technique is a effective method for measuring in situ porosity, permeability, stess situatien and elastic parameters of crustal rock, and that it is significant for the study of subsurface fluid dynamic (such as groundwater, gases and petroleum) and its machauism and so on.
