THE STIMATION OF SEISMISITY IN THE JUCTURE OF SHANXI, HEBEI, SHANDONG AND HENAN PROVINCES

Basing on the composite fault-plane solution of a lot of micro-earthquakes around the jucture of ShanXi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, it is suggested that, or the re-lationship between seismoteconic and seismicity, the direction of the principal pressure s-tress axis of the composite fault-plane solution hes turned into approximate the S-E from E-W direction since Tongshan earthquake, and isn't consistent with uniform stress field in North China, It effects right lateral slip for the northwestward earthquake fault and buffers stress accumulation.Theaeby, we concluded that it is almost impossible for strong shock to occur and possible for moderate strong earthquake.
