A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE INVERSION OF DSS DATA IN LATERALLY HETEROGENEOUS CRUSTAL STRUCTURES

In this paper, it is suggested to use the approximate ray theory (ART) to get the theoretical traveltimes of seismic waves and synthetic seismograms in laterally heterogeneous crustal model.Based upon that, a discussion on the methods and procedure of DSS data inversion in the model has been preliroinarily made.It is necessary to consider both kinematic and dynamic characteristics in the data processing.#br#The data processing of Renxian-Wuqing DSS profile has been taken as an example to illustrate the practical application of the above mcthods.
