SOME RECOGNITION FOR THE NNE STRUCTURAL ZONE IN SONGPAN—PINGWU REGION

Some evidences for the existence and characteristics of the latest aetivity of the NNE structural zone that extends in Songpan-pingwu region have been proposed in terms of seismologeogical and geophysical data.It is shown that this structural zone controls earthquake preparation, occurence and their distribution in the zone.In addition, the relationship between the formation and development of the structural zone and the uplift of Tibet plateau are discussed.
