ANALYSIS AND STUDY ON THE CHANGES OF THE APPARENT RESISTIVITY BEFORE AND AFTER EARTHQUAKES IN THE REGION OF INNER MONGOLIA

  • In this paper,the characteristic features of earths electrical resistivity anomaly before and after twenty-one earthquakes around four resistivity stations located within the region of Inner Mongolia have been studied, and the effect of predicting earthquakes by the method of apparent resistivity has been discussed. Although the conditions of these stations are different, by this method, it is possible to forecast earthquakes of Ms≥4,7 wbicb occur within about 150 km surrounding the stations.
