SEISMIC ACTIVITY CHARACTERISTICS AND ESTIMATION OF SEISMIC RISK IN THE NEAR FUTURE ON THE NORTHSEGMENT OF YISHU BELT

Mainly by the methods presented in the guidebook on seismological analysis prediction methods, this paper analyzes the seismic activity characteristics and seismic risk on the northsegment of Yivshu belt, The results indicate that there will be no relatively large earthquakes in this area in the near future and the area lacks a M_L4-3 earthquake according to the extrapolation by b value. Meanwhile, the estimations of seismic risk of the area is made by grey theory.
