ANALYSIS AND DETERMINATION OF THE EQUATION OF GROUND MOTION ATTENUATION IN HEBEI PROVINCE A:D ITS NEARBY AREAS

In this paper, based on the data of earthquake intensity in Hebei and its nearby areas, the data of acceleration recorded from Western USA, the equation of ground motion attenuation from western USA and the data of acceleration recorded from China. and by the method of least square and the method of coversion, the equation of ground motion attenuation for Hebei Province and its nearby areas is determined. This research result can be used in the earthquake risk analysis of the areas of lange engineerings and seismic zoning of cities in Hebei Province.
