SEISMICITY AT XINZHOU-DINGXIANG BASIN

Xinzhou-Dingxiang Basin is in the north of Shanxi downfaulted belt.There were 3 strong earthquakes with magnetude of more than 7 occurred in history This paper systematically studies the regional seismicity on the basis of analysis of spacial distribution of earthquakes,time-series,strain release, the seismicity image before earthquakes of M≥7 and the distribution of the original fracture zone.Some conclusions are of significant for mapping seismic risk and momitoring earthquakes in the researching area.
