Abstract

This paper analyzes and sums up the space distribution of focal depths of the earthquakes in Shanxi province. It is obtained that the deepest focal depth of the earthquakes in Shanxi province is 35kms, the shallow ones are from 6 to 8 kms and most of them are 10 to 20 kms.
