THE SHORT-TERM PREDICTION OF THE M_s4.6 EARTHQUAKE ACCURRED IN THE NORTHWEST OF CHAOYANG IN LIAONING PROVINCE ON OCT. 22, 1994

According to the situation of large and small earthquakes activity at home and abroad after April of 1994, the author tried to make a short-term prediction for the 4.0 earthquake in Inner Mon- golia on oct.9 and the M_s 4.6 earthquake in the northwest of Chaoyang on Oct.22.Fi-nally,this prediction and the large-situation activity back-ground outside the area are briefly discussed.
