A DISCUSSION ON THE INTENSITY DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF 1626 LINGQIU EARTHQUAKE AND THE EARTHQUAKE - BLOCKING STRUCTURE

This paper made a reexamination on the damages of the 1626 Lingqiu earthquake and it is pointed out that the intensity of the Lingqiu earthquake showed a high-value anomaly along Tanghe great fault and a fast attenuation towards west.Based on this.the concept of earthquake-blocking structure has been put forward and the corresponding theory analysis has been made.Finally,it is pointed out that the Tanghe great fault is the earthquake-blocking structure of the 1626 Lingqiu earthquake.
