THE UPLAND MORPHOLOGIC SURFACE AND NEOZOIC TECTONIC MOVEMENT IN NORTH CHINA

  • The North China upland has 3-stage upland planation suphaces and 4-stage river terrace suphaces. It is showed that the Neozoic crustal movement showed vertical difference characteristics. The movement is mainly uplift movement, with everage uplift amplitude being 1700m, rate 0.031mm/a, the largest one being in Quaternary period. The Neozoic crustal tectonic traces in the whole area can be divided into 3 large categories, 8 subcategories and 32 small categories. In the Neozoic tectonic movement, the Neozoic tectonic movement since Quaternary period and the Neozoic tectonic movement since Epleis-tocene have also been divided.
