MICROSTRUCTURAL FEATURES OF GOUGES AND THEIR IMPLICATON IN CHENGGEZHUANG FAULT

  • Chenggezhuang fault is an east-branching fault of Mafang-Xiadian fault belt. A ccomprehensive study, such as microstructure of gouges, observation of SEM quartz fragment and TL dating of the fault gouges, gives the result that the last movement mode is stick slip mainly in different segment and the movement mode and intensity are different in each segment during different geological period.
