THE SITE CHARACTERISTICS OF NORTHERN PART OF HEBEI PROVINCE AND PREDICTION OF SEISMIC HAZARD

Through the study of the relation between the site characterisitics of northern part of Hebei Province and the seismic hazards, combining with the prediction opinion on the seismicity degree in that area, the seismic hazard types which might appear in the future in the northern part of Hebei Province are preliminarily assessed and at the same time the corresponding coutermessures to reduce the seismic hazard in the area are presented.
