FUNCTION OF PUBLIC MEDIA IN THE MANAGEMENT OF EARTHQUAKE EMERGENCY

Based on the characteristics of public media, combined the feature of earthquake emergency, the superiority and function of public media are discussed.The government should play the function of media sufficiently, and setup a channel in social communication through media, in order to ensure the emergency and rescue can be run favourably, and increase the efficiency of disaster reduction.
