ESTIMATION FOR QUAKEPROOF CAPABILITY OF BUILDINGS IN CITY

The earthquake hazard index is a quantitative description for the damage of buildings in earthquakes.Based on the prediction results of earthquake damage in city buildings, the method to estimate quakeproof capacity of city building with the aggregative earthquake hazard index is discussed.Taken the buildings in the base of Shengli Oilfield (the western part of Dongying City) as example, the quakeproof capacity is estimated.
