CHARACTERISTICS OF STRESS FIELD IN EACH SUBREGION OF SHANDONG AREA

The comprehensive focal mechanism solutions in each subregion of Shandong area, such as Jiaodong, Yishu Southeast Shandong region, are analyzed.Combined with some previous results, the characteristics of stress field direction in Shandong area and the variation in the directions of principal tensional and compressive stress axis are studied, and the relation between the variation of stress field direction and local moderate strong earthquakes are also studied.
