THE CHARACTERISTICS OF SEISMICITY IN TAIWAN AND ITS NEIGHBORING REGIONS
The logarithmic relation between magnitude and maximum interval for the earthquakes from 1970 to 2003 in Taiwan and its neighboring region is analyzed.From the view of waiting time in seismic activity, we analyzed the relation between percentage of seismic activity number and waiting time.At last, we introduced the characteristics in the isoclines of the percentage.
