STUDY ON THE OBSERVATIONAL EFFECT OF GEOTHERMOMETERS IN DIFFERENT DEPTH AND ITS MECHANISM OF ANOMALY

  • the repeated hysteresis effect of the two geothermometers in different depth in Changping Seismostation to the Inner Mongolia ML5.8 earthquake occurred on Oct.20, 2002 and the Hebei Ningjin ML4.3 earthquake occurred on Dec.25, 2002 is studied, and the geothermal mechanism before and after the two events is discussed.Since geotemperature is a demonstrative parameter to the variation of crustal stress, its anomaly is relevant to the time, site and magnitude of earthquakes.
