RETROSPECTION TO THE 40 YEARS' EARTHQUAKE PREVENTION AND DISASTER REDUCTION IN HEBEI PROVINCE AND EXPECTATION——IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 40 ANNIVERSARY OF XINGTAI EARTHQUAKE

In the past 40 years,under the leadership of China Earthquake Administration and Government of Hebei province,all the staffs in Hebei Province have made unremitting efforts in earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.Since the "ninth five years project" and "tenth five years project",we have got great achievements in system construction,strengthening observation,integrative defence and legislation.In order to carry on the achievements and exploit the future,it is significant to have a thoroughly review on the work we have done in the past 40 years.
