TO PREDICT THE MS7.2 EARTHQUAKE IN SOUTH SEA IN 2006 WITH SUMATRA MW9.0 GREAT EARTHQUAKE

There was a correlation between earthquakes in Sumatra, indonesia and that in Taiwan, China in history.After the occurrence of Sumatra earthquake in 2004, we had predicted in 2005 that over M7 earthquake might occur in south Taiwan island and its offing.The result is that an Ms7.2 earthquake occurred in the sea region near Hengchun of Taiwan, China.The paper is a review on the prediction.
