CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CO2 ANOMALY IN HUAILAI SEISMOSTATION AND ITS RELATION WITH EARTHQUAKES

  • The data of CO2 in Huailai Seismostation from 1991 to 2006is analyzed, and its relativity with ground temperature is studied.The results indicate that CO2 and ground temperature shows positive correlation.The relation of CO2 anomalies with earthquakes is also studied, and some anomalies are picked up before Huailai M4.4 earthquake(Aug.3, 2002) and Wen'an M5.1 earthquake(Jul.4, 2006).
