STUDY ON THE ATTENUATION OF SEISMIC INTENSITY IN JIANGHUAI AREA

Since the difference of focal character, media and site, attenuation of earthquake intensity is different in regions. The seismicity of the studying area (29°~35°N, 114°~120°E), which is located in the transition area of earthquake region in North China and South China, is not high, and the attenuation of intensity has its own characters in focal mechanism, radiate medium and site. The attenuation of intensity in the area was analyzed with statistical regression, and compared with existing results.
