  • Huailai ML4.4 earthquake that occurred on Aug.3, 2002, is a relative strong event in Capital area recently.Though the magnitude is not large, but it is a marked and detectable earthquake in East China after the M8.1 earthquake occurred in west pass of Kunlun Mountain.The anomalies of water mercury recorded by Huailai Seismostation is studied in the paper, and the variation of Sanmafang gas radon as wellas gas mercury of Huailai No.4 well are also presented.
