THE TECTONIC TOPOGRAPHY FEATURE OF THE FAULTS IN NORTH YUMUSHAN MOUNTAIN AND ITS FAULTING ACTIVITY

  • Tectonic topography can reflect the structural deformation feature and active strength of faults, such as the height, length and gradient of a fault scarp as well as its continuity. In this paper, the reatures of F(C),F(D),F(LR),F(SR)value in each segment of a fault scarp are analyzed. At the end of this paper,we discussed the reflection of alluvial fan on the active strength of faults. From the statistic results of geomorphy,we find that the gradient of the alluvial fan in the middle part of Yumushan Mountain is the biggest, and gets smaller extending from the middle to the both side. The survey results of fault deformation as well as the thermoluminescent dating on the fan top and fault slip velocity are also given. The results show that the fault in north boundary of Yumushan Mountain can be divided into three segments:east segment, middle segment, and west segment.
