THE STUDY ON THE DISTURBANCE TO TAIYUAN GEOELECTRIC OBSERVATION STATION BY BURING GROUND WATER PIPES

Through an investigation of disturbance to TaiYuan Geoeletric Current observation Station by buring pipes, it was concluded that there are no definite shapes for the disturbance to ρ_S-curve by ground water pipes. The disturbance of indefinite shape can not be eliminated at present, so measures are expected to be studied soon. In the electrodes distributing field, buring ground water pipes should evade abnormal period as far as possible, and it had better to bury pipes not in winter before the problem is solved. If the disturbance condition keeps unstable, the electrodes distance should be modified properly or the station is expected to move.
