SOME FEATURES OF THE GROUND MOTION OF THE EARTHQUARE(M=5.0) IN GUZHEN, ANHUI PROVINCE

This paper summarizes and discusses the appearances caused by the surface mation of Guzhen 5.0 earthquake in Anhui province, such as the damage, callapse and rotation of the buildings. Thos-appearances agree with the P-axis direction, breaking direction, action modes, of the faults and motion tendency of the blocks obtained from the focus mechanism solution of the earthquake. They demonstrate the features of the surface motion for an earthquake(M=5.0).
