AN ANALYSLS OF FAULTS ACTIVITY IN BEIJING AREA AND ITS BEHAVIOURS TO SEISMIC PRECURSORS AND STRESS FIELD

In this paper, based on many year observations for short level and short base line across faults in Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan and Zhangjiakou areas, The characteristics of fault activity in this area have been studied and combined with the precursors appeared in Tangshan earthquake, the role of the survey accros faults in preeursor analysis and estimation of stress field situation has been discussed.
