Analysis of Water Temperature Tide and Its Long-term Characteristics in Well Ji-16

  • The water temperature tide phenomenon is studied using the 4 years observations data obtained in Well Ji-16. The following tasks are carried out: (1) comparing water temperature observations with theoretically calculated values of body strain tides; (2) comparing relative phase changes between water temperature observations and theoretical body strain tide; (3) analyzing the long term characteristics of diurnal variation and short time variations at different time of the water temperaturature observations. The conclusion is the water temperature observations from Well Ji-16 have a good tidal effect, which can be used to explain the decreases of the diurnal variation amplitude through the micro dynamic change process of tidal effect. A large amount of data is used to analyze the water temperature tide phenomenon in this paper, which can provide a reference for the research of related topics.
