Abstract
According to the high-precision aeromagnetic survey results combined with the analysis of previous geological exploration data, there is a low, gentle branching magnetic anomaly that bulges northward in the Yezhuang area on the northwest side of the Zhangjiawa iron ore deposit III. This anomaly is inferred to be a reflection caused by a concealed magnetic body and shows significant potential for mineral prospecting. Combining geological, gravitational, magnetic, and controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric data, typical profiles are selected for the joint fine inversion of gravity, magnetic and electric data. Based on the inversion result, the spatial distribution characteristics of the contact zone between the Ordovician carbonate strata and the Mesozoic diorite bodies and the main ore-hosting zones of the hidden ore bodies are inferred. Combined with the known geological data, it is believed that the gentle slope side of the local protrusion of the rock mass is a favorable area for finding hidden ore. The drilling verification shows that the revealed deep blind ore bodies are basically consistent with the predicted results, which proves that the comprehensive geophysical method has an outstanding effect in the deep prospecting of the iron-rich ore in Laiwu area, and provides a reference for deep ore prospecting of the iron-rich ore in this area in the future.
